During that time it has helped me shape my manuscript, a work which involves detailed analysis of the world's scriptures, philosophers and science, to provide a 'how to book for serving the greatest good of all.' Despite my series being hailed by best selling authors and also being interviewed for an upcoming book by an author with more than 14 million sales, I am starting to move to the next stage of seeking an agent....gosh this is a very demanding task:-) But I will keep at it. Blessings Thanks for this post ED – over the last 18 months I have been deep in research, written and published, as part of a weekly series, some 220,000 words. Ha, we certainly all need the good news of the Gospel! I've only dabbled in fiction, but I think there are some similarities. There will be research in both cases, though fiction doesn't require citing sources. I think that fiction also requires a bit more thought ahead of time about the qualities of characters, the setting, and other key parts of the story. For nonfiction I find that I can write short stories and anecdotes without fitting them into a seamless narrative flow. I hope that makes sense. Thanks Marcus. Congrats on finishing your latest book! I could use some saving from myself, that's for sure. I wonder how the process differs for fiction writers? Congrats on finishing your latest book!
