Ha, we certainly all need the good news of the Gospel! I've only dabbled in fiction, but I think there are some similarities. There will be research in both cases, though fiction doesn't require citing sources. I think that fiction also requires a bit more thought ahead of time about the qualities of characters, the setting, and other key parts of the story. For nonfiction I find that I can write short stories and anecdotes without fitting them into a seamless narrative flow. I hope that makes sense. Thanks Marcus.
